Celebrating a Warm Place to Stay for Our Sweet Neighbor!

Today, we are overjoyed to celebrate a major milestone for one of our beloved neighbors who has faced the challenges of homelessness. Thanks to the unwavering support of our incredible Love INC partner, Joy from Glory City Fellowship, this neighbor now has a warm and safe place to call home. Joy's compassion and dedication, guided by her faith, made all the difference in helping her take this vital step toward stability.

For years, this neighbor had been in and out of shelters, even living outside near Love INC. During that time, she received meals, showers, and laundry services through Love INC’s outreach. While she worked closely with Love INC’s Case Manager to find housing, the waiting list for her preferred location was over a year long.

One evening, while Joy was helping serve dinners, she noticed this neighbor and immediately took action. Joy allowed God to guide her, speaking truth and care into the situation. With her help, the neighbor was able to secure a spot in a nursing facility, and was encouraged to take this opportunity of housing, finally gaining the stability she needed.

This is what it means to "Be the Change" in someone's life. Together, we can bring hope and transformation to those who need it most.
