43 Housed!!

We are excited for our 43rd neighbor to find permanent housing!

Here is his story: “In this past year, I lost a good friend who was also my roommate. The financial burden of the rental and utilities fell on me and I just could not keep up with the expenses as I am on a fixed income. The constant fear of pending homelessness caused me so much stress and worry. I am so glad I made that call to the Connection Center. I thank God every day for the kind people at Love INC who helped me during a very difficult time in my life. I have received so much support with Margaret (Case Management) and I know a lot of the folks at Love INC have been praying for me. I can’t put into words what that has meant to me, what a blessing! I have been able to move into a place that I had been on the waiting list for over 3 years! I know the timing is from God. It is so wonderful to finally have a place I know I can afford and to live in an area where I can build new community. I even made the decision through all of this to get baptized. I dedicated my life to Jesus this past Sunday and will be looking for a new home church near where I live now. I also want to thank Tony (Crossroad Church) for being so kind in helping me with transportation to ensure I was able to get this housing. I will never forget any of this.”
