Jeff Banning

(Board President)

For the first 30 years of his career, Jeff Banning built one of the most dynamic and successful Logistics companies in Delaware by adopting a Servant Leadership culture and team-oriented business philosophy where people were the priority and key to the organization’s success. In 2019 Jeff and his family sold the company enabling Jeff to focus on his personal mission to take his life’s work of building Influential Leaders and create a transformational Leadership experience he calls Aspire Leadership. He is passionate about our non-profit communities having served on the Board of Directors of Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Delmarva Teen Challenge, Delmarva Christian Schools, and Love INC of Mid-Delmarva.

Ronda Banning

​Ronda Banning was born in Baltimore, Md and lived in Forest Hill, Md until 1988. She came to the Eastern Shore in 1988 to attend Salisbury University. There, she met her husband, Jeff Banning, and married in 1991. Ronda started working for Trinity Logistics (Jeff’s family's business) in 1991 and retired from Trinity in 2018. Ronda started volunteering for Love INC of Mid-Delmarva in 2018. From 2021-2022 Ronda was Interim Director for Love INC. Ronda now serves on the Love INC Board of Directors and continues to volunteer her time serving and leading Love INC’s Connection Center.

Greg Johnson

Greg is enthusiastic about his involvement with Love INC, fully endorsing its mission. His community service includes roles in organizations like Good Samaritan Aide, Nanticoke Rotary, Chamber of Commerce and Gideon's International. Greg's entrepreneurial experience spans over 40 years, covering various industries such as insurance, finance, automotive, real estate, manufacturing, and home building. He has served the corporate boards of Fulton Bank Delaware, Professional Insurance Agents Associates, Grange Insurance company and Nanticoke Health Services. Greg's commitment to vocational education is evident through his past presidency at Sussex County Vocational and Technical High School. He and his wife Carla reside in Laurel, Delaware, and have 4 children, 9 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandson.

Pastor Weldon Lemke

(Secretary)

Weldon Lemke, Atlanta Road Alliance Church’s full-time pastor, has a blend of 17 years in marketing/sales and 17 years as a pastor. Weldon received his undergraduate degree in marketing and finance from the University of Saskatchewan and a master’s degree from Alliance Theological Seminary. He is a certified trainer with Peacemaking Ministries, a Behavioral Intelligence trainer with the Consentia Group, and an adjunct professor with Grand Canyon University. Weldon currently lives in Delaware with his wife of almost 35 years. They have two children and four grandchildren. Weldon joined Love INC’s Board in 2024 and currently serves as secretary.

Rob Hemmen

(Treasurer)

Rob earned his BS degree from Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green, KY, and MBA from Capital University in Bexley, OH. After 22 years in the Marines, retiring as a LtCol, he worked for several start up telecommunications companies in Ohio and NJ. In 2002 he bought his own business and relocated to DE in 2004. Rob and his wife, Janel, are active members of Atlanta Road Alliance Church, where Rob has volunteered as Treasurer, Sound Technician, and in children’s ministries. Also involved in the Rotary Club, he's served as president, District Governor, and now treasurer. He and Janel appreciate their neighbors and neighborhood, where Rob was the president of the HOA. Rob and Janel have 4 adult children and 7 grandchildren. He’s grateful for this newest opportunity to serve on the Love INC Board of Directors and currently holds the title of treasurer.

Daniel Welch

Dan is an accomplished leader with over 30+ years in home furnishing. Beginning his carreer in sales with La-Z-Boy, he quickly rose to management and held various senior level management positions including Operations Manager, Market General Manager and Sr. Regional Operations Manager. Dan joined Johnny Janosik in 2009 and after three years was promoted to Director of Operations. In 2015 he took over the realm as CEO. He is well versed in all aspects of running a successful multi-unit retail operation. Dan served on the Sussex County Habitat for Humanity board for six years, performing duties as Secretary, Vice President and President. Dan currently serves on the board of Johnny Janosik, the WSFS Bank Southern Advisory Board, and Love INC of Mid-Delmarva.

Dr. Louis Owens

Dr. Louis, from Whaleyville, VA, graduated from Whaleyville High School in 1963. He earned his BS in Chemistry from Duke University in 1967 and his MD degree from the Medical College of Virginia (VCU) in June 1971. His career spanned service in the USAF, specializing in Diagnostic Radiology at MCV Richmond, VA, and Keesler AFB in Mississippi. Retiring from Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in 2007, he continued in the Air Force Reserves, eventually retiring as a Colonel. With his wife Carol, a pediatrician, they raised two daughters, Maryetta and Chrissy, and cherish their four grandchildren. They have been members of Grace Baptist Church since 1984 and Dr. Louis has been involved with Love INC since its inception in Seaford.

Chris Dukes

Chris Dukes of Seaford has been actively involved with Love INC of Mid-Delmarva since its Sussex County inception, serving as a founding Board member and past Treasurer for over 15 years. As an active member of Concord UM Church, she fills multiple roles, including choir member, Communion Steward, church Secretary, and United Women in Faith Secretary, alongside her duties as church Historian and President of "Sons, Daughters, and Friends of Concord." With a 42-year career in Delaware Real Estate Sales, she is the Office Administrator for The Real Estate Market in Laurel and co-owns Miller’s Auto Upholstery of Seaford with her husband, Craig Dukes. She finds joy in camping, motorcycle rides, and spending time with her two grandchildren.

Lauren Vanaman

Lauren, a paralegal, has worked alongside Jeff Banning for 13 years in the leadership team at Trinity Logistics. With a background as Ladies Ministry Director at Crossroad Community Church, Lauren's leadership and teaching skills made her a natural fit in helping Jeff Banning create Trinity's leadership development program. She is now the Executive Director of Aspire Leadership, dedicated to cultivating impactful leaders for growth, trust, and connection. Certified as a CCNL (Credentialed, Christian Non-profit Leader), she supports non-profits in management and serves in an advisory role on the Board of Love INC of Mid Delmarva.
