Sheltered From the Cold
Compassion in Action: Supporting Our Neighbors Through the Storm
As snowflakes fell and temperatures dropped, our partners stepped into action to serve our community’s most vulnerable neighbors. The bitter cold reminds us of the critical role our Code Purple program plays—not just in providing a warm place to rest, but also in offering hope and practical support for lasting transformation.
During the recent snowstorm, our dedicated Case Manager braved the icy roads to visit Code Purple sites. These visits weren’t just about checking in—they were about connecting, listening, and empowering. One-on-one conversations with neighbors in need created opportunities to set goals, share resources, and foster hope for a better tomorrow. At Love INC, we believe in offering a hand up, not just a handout. Our mission is to equip individuals with the tools and encouragement they need to build a stable and self-sufficient future.
A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Partner Churches
We could not do this work alone. This week, we are especially grateful to Restoration Community Church and Grace Seaford Church for their remarkable generosity and partnership.
These two churches didn’t just provide shelter during the night—they kept their doors open during the day, offering a safe, warm space where our Code Purple neighbors could find comfort and community. Their selfless service ensured that no one had to face the frigid cold alone.
Your compassion is the backbone of our mission, and your commitment reminds us all of what it means to truly love our neighbors.
Join Us in Transforming Lives
Love INC’s work is rooted in faith, compassion, and action. We believe that by coming together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of those in need. Whether it’s through warm meals, clothing, or connections to life-changing resources, every small act of kindness helps build a brighter future.
💜 If you or someone you know needs support, don’t hesitate to reach out to us. Together, we can be the hands and feet of Christ in our community.
Thank you to everyone who makes this ministry possible—our churches, volunteers, and supporters. Your love and generosity make all the difference, especially during life’s storms.
Let’s continue to walk alongside our neighbors, bringing warmth, hope, and lasting transformation. 💜
